私は、その残された光を、別の空気のなかへ運び込むようにしてこの作品を編曲しました。
原曲はすでに、それ自身の距離を、それ自身の廃墟を、それ自身の夢を、抱えていた。私が試みたのは、それを覆うことではなく、管楽合奏の呼吸のなかを通過させることでした。
金管、木管、そして響き――それらは、「幻想」がふたたび立ち上がるための地となる。
これは単なる編曲ではありません。原曲の最後の光が、いくつもの声を通り抜けていく、その場なのです。
I arranged this piece as if I were carrying that remaining light into another air.
The original music already had its own distance, its own ruin, its own dream. What I tried to do was not to cover it, but to let it pass through the breath of a wind ensemble.
Brass, woodwinds, and resonance become the ground where the fantasy stands again.
Not merely an arrangement, but the place where the last light of the original piece is made to pass through many voices.
